Skate Sharpening at Alexandra Palace Ice Rink

The Ice Hockey Club price for sharpening is £5 a pair. Jyri, one of the Surpervisors at the rink does the grinding. The process for submitting your skates for grinding is as follows:
1. Find the duty manager and ask if you can leave your skates for grinding.
2. The duty manager will ask you to fill out a form and lock the skates in the reception area. When Jyri comes in he will sharpen the skates and leave them at reception for pick up. (If Jyri is in when you ask for a grind he may be able to do them while you wait.)
3. Pick skates up at reception.

This is a fairly new system so please bear with us whilst we smooth out any kinks.

We will try to distribute the forms to each team so you can stock up and arrive at the rink with the form already filled out.

The Haringey Junior Ice Hockey Club takes no responsibility for the quality of the sharpening or the pick-up arrangements for the skates. Please ensure you indicate to the duty manager when you intend to pick up the skates.
